TO Signs with Bills

After watching that I can list four people more excited than T.O. about the recent signing.
  1. Rob Lunn - The only Bills fan I know personally
  2. Gibran Hamdan - Bills 3rd string QB
  3. John Allaire - Bills Strength Coach
  4. Jason Witten - Cowboys TE
So lets all wish the old man the best of luck up there in Buffalo. May he cry for Trent Edwards, find good health and warm temperatures, and attract a Canadian that will love him not just for who he is but for what he has inside.

TC: No T.O.

Last offseason the Redskins conjured up a plan that involved two first round draft picks for one Ocho Cinco. As of last night, T.O. hit the market and it made me wonder if the Skins will continue the pursuit for another high profile receiver. But thankfully profootballtalk.com has confirmed that the Skins are not interested.
Our initial knee-jerk reaction to the news that Terrell Owens had involuntarily gained his freedom from the Cowboys was that Owens would most likely land with the Redskins or the Giants.

And, already, both teams have reportedly said no.

Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports that the Redskins have issued an adamant “no thanks” regarding the possibility of signing Owens.
This is great news for us Skins fans but still leaves us wondering, where will he go. So please share your thoughts on the recent TO situation. Which team will he implode next?

TC: I Heart Ed Werder

In another post season sans Redskins there is nothing that brings me more joy than turmoil in the Dallas Cowboy organization. And who better to bring it to us than Ed Werder? You know, same guy that was called a liar by many of the Cowboys (including T.O.) after reporting on the whole Witten/T.O. debacle earlier this year. Most recently, Ed brings us this:
"I think we all know that chemistry is the problem with this team more than the schemes or anything else. Are we going to continue to allow talent to outweigh everything else in the decisions we make with players and putting the roster together? We're like the Redskins used to be when they signed every player they wanted. There's more to it than talent. It has to be more about the team."
Maybe since the Cowboys let HBO in on all of their business earlier this year they also let in Ed Werder during the season? Because there have been no formal talks between T.O. and the Cowboys. So either Ed was inside the Ranch or just wants to make this guy mad again. Maybe both? Either way, I love it.

TC: Message from a T.O. Fan

It brings me great joy to share this with Skins fans on Dallas week. A few years back, former Redskin Brian Kozlowski got a handwritten letter in his mailbox. My first thought after reading this were, "This must have come from a little kid" or "That it was a cool gesture, Koz probably doesn't get a ton of fan mail this late in his career." But no, this letter came from the hand of an actual functioning adult. I have typed it in here exactly as it was written...no changes.
Dear Brian,

How are you doing? I'm doing fine. Can you send me a photo of yourself? Terrell Owens turned 32 years old on December 12, 2005. Terrell Owens threw a birthday party for himself. Jevon Kearse and 18 other football players came to Terrell Owens birthday party. Freddie Mitchell even came to Terrell Owens birthday party. Freddie Mitchell left the Philadelphia Eagles and started playing for the Kansas City Chiefs. Did you hear about Terrell Owens? Do you think Andy Reid would let Terrell Owens come back to the Philadelphia Eagles? My favorite basketball team played against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Terrell Owens birthday and the Philadelphia 76ers won the game. It was a close game. The Philadelphia 76ers had 98 points and the Minnesota Timberwolves had 89 points. What is the name of your favorite hockey team? Did your team play against the San Diego Chargers? Can I be on Wheel of Fortune with you or Mark Brunell on NFL week? My other favorite football team played against the St. Louis Rams 6 days after Terrell Owens birthday and the Philadelphia Eagles won the game. It was a close game. The Philadelphia Eagles had 17 points and the St. Louis Rams had 16 points. Would you like to have Terrell Owens on your team? Can you give Terrell Owens a chance if your coach decided to let him play for your team? Maybe you or Mark Brunell can come to Wal Mart the day before or the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, the day after Christmas or New Years Day. I would like to get a chance to rub elbows with you and some of the other football players. Wal Mart would be on South Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia. Did you or anybody else watch the basketball game on Terrell Owens birthday or the football game 6 days after Terrell Owens birthday? Good luck to you and your team.
I'm sure Koz and Mark Brunell would love to join you on Wheel of Fortune and if all goes well there, I bet they would love to come meet you at Wal Mart on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Years Day. Who wouldn't?

I mean...this letter is amazing. After reading it again I can't be too certain but, T.O. may have written it himself. I think he's been known to talk in the third person from time to time. Anyway, if we're lucky this guy will show up Sunday night with 10,000 friends and some blue towels. Can you even imagine...
